Looking out the window on a warm sunny afternoon, a group of little white butterflies grabs my attention. I watch as they flutter above the flowers, the warm sunlight reflecting off their delicate wings. I don't think insects have emotions but what I see in them is: freedom, beauty, peace, and pleasure in the moment. As they explore their world they seem to be carefree and not worried about life. The butterflies are aware of the others at times coming close enough to touch. They remain a group of equals yet each choose to fly in the direction of their choice.
Observation of nature puts my life back into perspective and causes me to praise my Father, the Creator.
