Spring

It's been a loooong winter

but that's nothing unusual for the North.

Today, April 10, is the first day since last fall

that I have been able to keep the windows open in our home.

The first time this year that I get to ride my bike!

It awakens new life in my soul.

I feel excitement for the future

and what God has in store for me.

I know it won't be easy but,

He is my Father and I trust Him fully.

It's good to experience a 'spring' in our lives every year.

A time to cast off the lifelessness, darkness and cold of 'winter'.

A time to discover our God afresh.

Breathe in the newness of spring...

feel the joy of knowing we are in His hands.

His loving, caring & just hands.

So when you see the flowers bursting forth this spring

full of beauty and new life.

Remember that something was going on underground

during the winter causing opportunity for growth and change.

A change that can bring our creator glory.

My hope is that you also will experience another 'spring time' in your life.
